I’d take our chances against that list. On neutral sites I think we go 6-4 or better. Georgia, Bama, and Ohio State all have new QB’s. We have the best in the country.
WR Xavier Jordan Commits to USC Scott Schrader (on3.com) — After visiting OHIO ST and OU, 2024 4-Star Chatsworth Sierra Canyon WR Xavier Jordan announced his commitment to Lincoln Riley earlier today. ORE and UW also offered, among 20 others. “There’s a lot behind my decision to commit to USC,” explained Jordan (6-1, 165). “It’s home. It would’ve made no season for me to pick another school, because USC was recruiting me really hard. I don’t go a day without talking to Coach (Dennis) Simmons and Lincoln Riley. They call me every day to make sure I’m good. It’s a bigger than football situation. “Coach… Read more »
Drove up to the Newport Beach Boat Show this weekend. Big boats, big lips, big boobs! All you LA one percenters sure live in a different world. It was fun. Getting excited for some sailing in the Virgin Islands next month on a Beneteau 46.
Travis Dye going undrafted was only a little surprising. I know people think he’s too small or whatever, but his heart and head tell a lot about his football ability. I hope the Jets see the potential of a diamond overlooked
It’ll be interesting to watch Dye’s attempt to latch on with the Jets. He’s so versatile. The NFL will see if it can weed him out. Tough to be a RB these days, but sure would be nice to see him make it.
Travis Dye reminds me of Austin Ekeler for Chargers. Austin is 5’10’ and 200 pounds, has good hands and is hard nosed runner. He has had a very successful career. I think Travis can be that kind of guy for some team. I am rooting for him.
Stetson Bennett will carry a clipboard for a couple of years then become a real estate closing attorney here in GA. That’s how you buy a house here in GA. No escrow people. Keeps low rent attorneys employed here.

Steve, IMO the only Pac school that can weather a horrible media deal (in the low $20 million range) and not be significantly impacted is Oregon (and perhaps UW). Oregon outsourced its athletic department to Nike years ago. So long as Nike stays healthy financially, Oregon and its “pay-for-play” NIL will be fully funded. Shame, but I think it is reality. IMO, Oregon (and UW) will block any move to move the conference to streaming for most of its product. They want to games on mainstream outlets.
Little dick hearts are breaking all around. But anybody with half a brain already knew the ducks and huskies do not bring any extra money to the current conference they only dilute it.
USC grad transfer CB Mekhi Blackmon (5-11, 175, 4.47) from CU honed his skills last season against WR Jordan Addison in practice every day. Now they will continue to be teammates in the NFL. Adam Grosbard (OC Register) — Blackmon was selected with the final pick of the third round of the NFL draft on Friday, heading to the Minnesota Vikings with the 102nd overall selection. Minnesota selected Addison, the USC receiver, with its first-round pick on Thursday. The physical Blackmon played one season with USC. He immediately took over as the Trojans’ top CB, defended 15 passes, and had three… Read more »
NFL Draft 2024 Odds: Caleb Williams Opens as Heavy Betting Favorite to Be No. 1 Pick
DraftKings Sportsbook released the odds for the No. 1 pick of next year’s draft, and the USC QB is a heavy favorite at -550 (bet $550 to win $100). He is followed by North Carolina QB Drake Maye at +600 and Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. at +2,000:
Darren Wolfson on Twitter — “Two teams, I hear, that had an interest in moving up to 23 when the Vikings were on the clock: Saints (29) and Chiefs (31). Belief is at least one of those teams would’ve taken Jordan Addison. Vikes like him so much, trade offers not rich enough, stayed at 23.”
Jordan make the splash and enjoy the ride as long as you can. Average NFL career for a wide receiver is less than 3 years with the highest injury rate of any position. JA get a big contract and invest wisely. Fight On!
Never have understood the need to dress clown-like. But then I remember what I wore to my two Proms: A light blue tuxedo jacket that had a paisley pattern in the fabric and a crushed blue velvet tuxedo jacket the next year. Eventually we evolve away from clown couture. I do love my Tommy Bahama shirts, though….
I wore a straight light blue Tuxedo jacket as well. Don’t quite know what got into me with the Bruin color scheme. Nonetheless, all was well until late, when an overindulged “friend” of mine barfed in the back seat of my car. Not good at that point.
I wore plaid flared pants with a 2 inch cuff and 2 inch heeled shoes. Love my Tommy Bahama shirts as well, have to be careful how loud they are, don’t want to be “old man clown couture”! 😎

Great starting spot, most of the teams ahead of USC will fall away.

Nice! My boat goes in the water tomorrow, but it’s on a big lake and I am not sailing.

Voorhees goes to Baltimore. Glad he got picked after his injury.
When I saw the Rams took Stetson Bennett I threw up. One pick to late to take Jake Haener, the bruin killer.

When I apply this to Oregon it warms my heart. They just are not at the top of the list. Ha ha

You have an excellent point RJ, let Nike fund the ducks in the pac. Maybe they will get aired on HGTV or Food Channel.

Not sure where he will go but hopefully not out in public in that suit. Between 17 and 28.

I am old enough to not care what I wear, what I say and who I say it to. One of the joys of aging is the whole “no filters” experience.😜
The true sign of an old man, I live it too.
