Allen Wallace


Allen Wallace was a lawyer by trade before he pioneered the business of college football recruiting from a thoroughly national perspective. He grew up in Newport Beach, Ca., founded SuperPrep magazine in the summer of 1985 and integrated his coverage on-line into in the mid-90’s.

After covering football recruiting on-line for USA Today, ESPNCNN and Sports Illustrated, in 2003 Wallace eventually co-branded with for 12 years as the National Recruiting Editor.

A 1974 graduate of USC, Allen has always been a passionate follower of Trojan athletics ever since watching USC outlast Wisconsin 42-37 in that memorable 1963 Rose Bowl  —  giving the renowned John McKay his first national championship in only year three as Trojan coach.
