How to watch the best games in college football this weekend
J. Brady McCollough (LA Times)
Kegs and Eggs
No. 6 Michigan at Penn State, 9 a.m. (all times PST), Ch. 7
The Wolverines must win in Happy Valley to set up a massive home game against rival Ohio State Nov. 27.
The Sooners feel disrespected by the College Football Playoff selection committee. They can send a message here.
Mississippi State at No. 17 Auburn, 9 a.m., ESPN
Mike Leach in the morning? What could be more entertaining than that?
Fire Up the Grill
No. 1 Georgia at Tennessee, 12:30 p.m., Ch. 2
Tennessee feels like it is surging under first-year coach Josh Heupel. Even competing with Georgia would further that momentum.
No. 19 Purdue at No. 4 Ohio State, 12:30 p.m., Ch. 7
The Boilermakers have taken down No. 2 Iowa and No. 3 Michigan State already. Are the Buckeyes their next victim?
Maryland at No. 7 Michigan State, 1 p.m., Ch. 11
The Spartans still control their own destiny in the Big Ten, but they’re not good enough to overlook the Terrapins.
Night Game Buzz
No. 11 Texas A&M at No. 15 Mississippi, 4 p.m., ESPN
The Aggies took care of Auburn last week. A win here keeps them alive for the SEC West crown.
The Fighting Irish better be ready for a shootout against Virginia gunslinger Brennan Armstrong.
No. 16 N.C. State at No. 12 Wake Forest, 4:30 p.m., ACC Network
The winner of this surprising November clash will take the driver’s seat in the ACC Atlantic division.
No. 25 Arkansas at Louisiana State, 4:30 p.m., SEC Network
Ed Orgeron’s Tigers nearly took down Alabama last week. He sure does thrive as an interim head coach.
After Dark
Washington State at No. 3 Oregon, 7:30 p.m., ESPN
The Cougars had a bye to prep for the Ducks. If they pull the upset, they assume control of the Pac-12 North.
The Wolfpack’s explosive offense meets the Aztecs’ stingy defense, and the winner likely takes the Mountain West’s West division.

I am agreement with so many on this board. 1)Fickell, Aranda(Campbell) would all be great choices. After that, it gets real sketchy. 2) I cant wait for this season to end. The suffering inflicted by the Helton. variant may be coming to an end soon, but we will probably get blown out of our next two games. -3)Our interim staff is doing a terrible job, especially when you see what other staffs have gotten done under similar circumstances. 4) Love seeing Sark stink things up in Austin 5) Georgia Southern will regret hiring Gomer. The guy simply can’t coach, no… Read more »
Things sure got bad super quick in TEXAS under Seven Win Sark:
“(Yesterday) Sark got outcoached. The Longhorns got outplayed. Overtime only extended the agony. The last time TEXAS lost five in a row, 1956, 80% of the U.S. population wasn’t born. Let that sink in.
“In the interest in brevity, we’ll sum up the TEXAS disaster by recounting how thousands of Orangebloods left Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium at halftime. That will happen when Kansas scores three touchdowns in 85 seconds…”
Dennis Dodd — cbssports.com
Makes me think how tricky Bohn’s job is to pick the right guy. McKay and Carroll were not the first choices and looked like bad choices at first. Sark looks like a bad choice but maybe there is a lot to rebuild at Texas, don’t know, don’t follow them. Boy, hopin’ and prayin’ Bohn gets it right.
You know what Paul Hackett’s buy-out was? $800,000, with two years left.
That should have been the Cat’s buy-out. He isn’t worth $400k a year anyway.
The heck with you all, front-runners to the end. Stick with the SC team through the down years and you will enjoy the good ones even more.
The Trojan boys will play for themselves this Saturday, and will give sucla a game. I would not recommend betting on SC, even with a 7-point handicap, but SC-sucla is almost always an unpredictable clash.
Better get my N-95 at the ready, I seldom don’t go to the Rose Bowl or Coliseum for this one.
Good morning, fellow TDB bloggers. Isn’t it wonderful not having to wash the sour taste of another frustrating loss by the Trojans from Saturday? I vote to self-Covid the program until we get another head coach.
Am I wrong to want to avoid further abuse to my inner Trojan?
Yes! No articles or comments on how this weeks loss further demonstrates how far……barf. It’s more fun to talk about our potential coaches and analyze how they did this week.
Aranda and Fickell👍 Franklin👎
It seems weird USC still has three games to play to me, with at least two likely more losses. Like I’m in some troubled Trojan Time Warp that will never end,
Allen, it was the greatest year in the last six for Trojan Football. While the Helton virus lingers, The Cat is gone. As an added bonus, this staff has been unmasked as a ship of fools. It is probably the worst job of interim coaching in SC history (and given how many interims SC has had, that is saying a lot). The long nightmare that was the last six years of SC football is about to end. I really hope that Bohn makes Aranda an offer he cannot refuse and the new era dawns in the spring. I do not… Read more »
Now that Aranda will be the overwhelming choice for Trojan fans as the newest leader of USC football, we’ll get to see just how serious big money-man Caruso was when he promised USC people he would bring in a “world-class” coach. We’re fast and finally closing in on USC’s destiny going forward. Big-time history in the making which will be a lot more important to USC football than this Saturday’s game against the little gutties. Imagine if you were a TEXAS fan right now. See…things could always be worse. We’ve already been through Sark’s gauntlet. The Longhorns are just at… Read more »
I thought TX was taking a huge risk in hiring Sark. Turns out both MS (Kiffin) and MS State (Leach) both made much better decisions. Sark is actually worse than Herman. Looks like FL will also be in the market. The FL coach has clearly lost the locker room. I would expect WA will also want to end the Lake experiment. Do not recall seeing this many opening in top tier programs.
Dan Mullen sure has taken a quick deep dive, though the Gators were also destroyed by OU in the Cotton Bowl last year 55-20.
Obviously, it was a bad sign of things to come for the folks in Gainesville.
For the record, I am officially all in on Aranda as 1a and Fickell as 1b. I think we have a better shot at Aranda. Mr Bohn, push all your chips to the center of the table and make him say…YES!
Another example of how bad and unacceptable the way the Trojans have been playing. Washington State loses their Head Coach and three or four other assistants who were all fired because of not being vaccinated, and they are still playing well and playing hard. Second place in the north, and currently down to Oregon by only 7 in the fourth quarter. With much less talent, according to evaluators, their guys are playing for pride and each other, and our guys aren’t. Pretty sad
Good points. This is why many of us feel this is the lowest point for the USC program we have ever witnessed. Trojan football just seems completely broken. Trojan fans now anticipate the complete rebuild bottom feeder programs have to deal with. It seems like the overall quality of the USC talent has dropped off to the point where losses are simply more likely than victories (unless you are playing CU, coached by that perfect specimen of the blank expression, Karl Dorrell). Some of our so-called better players just seem so over-rated when you watch them perform play after play.… Read more »
Amazing that CO went with Dorrell. He got coach of the year during the Covid season (heck, The Cat went undefeated that season). But we all knew that the Covid season was a fluke. Most of the CO team returned and will go 3-9 this year.
I’ve never seen a coach with a less exciting demeanor than Dorrell. He’s got one face, expressionless. Throw in the fact that he can’t coach worth a lick (don’t ask me to ever explain 13-9) and the poor Buffs look stuck deep in the mud with yet another failed coach (thanks Mel Tucker!). Unfortunately, Bohn made some very bad hires himself for the Buffs (’05-13).
I judge people for how well they learn from their mistakes. Bohn learned. He left Cincinnati much better off because of his time there. Certainly cannot say the same for either Haden or Swann.
Chris Arledge (WeAreSC) on UCLA coming to the Coliseum: “This USC team is not USC. It’s Arizona in stolen uniforms, Cal in cardinal and gold. The program is sick. It’s been beaten down by the Clay Variant, a strain so virulent, so deadly, that no vaccine can possibly help. This team can barely stand up and walk to the fridge. That’s trouble, because there’s nothing more exciting for a Bruin than a sick USC team. They can hardly contain themselves. This is what they live for. They’ll drive their Priuses over to the Coliseum, fill up all of the handicap… Read more »
Let’s go Donte!
Is it too much to ask USC’s lame-duck coaches and portal investigating players to put together a great game vs the little gutties and win one for Donte? Probably.
You bet, Allen. Our goose is cooked this Saturday.
Now that Choc Chip Kelly has finally figured out how to beat up on that old loser Bruin coach Karl Dorrell, what makes Kelly think he can beat super USC recruiter Donte Williams? I would say that watching USC’s tape did the trick. Fight On!
I think “probably” is too gentle. My guess is SC took the week off from practice and will now prep in earnest. I think the kids checked out on Donte after the Utah game. FYI, Utah officially eliminated the ‘ruins from the Pac 12 South Champion yesterday. The ‘ruins will officially place USC in 4th place on Saturday.
Under The Cat, it does seem that USC took a lot of days off from practice for various reasons, like Helton’s constant need to look at game and practice tape so he could decipher what was going on in prep for those lame pressers loved by all.
What a great article! I am inclined to adopt Atl DDS’s approach – let’s forfeit to the Bruins via Covid. I cannot see how this team is capable of beating the Bruins who showed up in the second half against CO. The Bruins choose to kind of show up in the first half and CO kicked their asses to the tune of 20-10; then they showed up in the second half and beat CO 34-0. What is scary is without Drake London, I doubt this SC team would have beaten CO. So, how do you call a game like this.… Read more »
Crazy! 56 consecutive road conference losses for KU (+31.5) tonight snapped by beating TEXAS in OT, 57-56. Biggest Big 12 upset against the spread ever! Love CFB!
Texas just lost to Kansas (yes, 1-8 Kansas) in Austin. Sark is now 4-6.
I knew Seven Win Sark had it in him. What’s wrong with TEXAS? I never watch them.
The D stinks. The O is excellent but mistake prone (4 turnovers versus KS). Kansas won 57-56 in OT. The score at the end of regulation was 49-49. TX went first and scored a TD and kicked the extra point. KS scored a TD on its possession, went for 2, and made it.
Geez. The little gutties are playing for basic bowl eligibility for the first time since 2017. And I thought USC was bad.
CU has fallen behind UCLA 23-20 in the 3rd Q, and the Bruins have ALL the momentum.
I sure hope next week that USC doesn’t run into the UCLA team that I am watching dismantle CU in the first half of the 3rd Q.
The Bruins are destroying CO. Toia, despite his incident, is playing and just made a great play. UCLA is far superior to CO. This team will destroy SC.
I see DTR scrambling for about 150 yds against us. Then he can just throw to Kyle Phillips and that TE, Greg Dulcich. UCLA’s other RBs can do the rest. Not looking good to me.
Excuse me while I rant! The Pac 12 sucks from top to bottom! Any team with any discipline and talent would plow right through this sorry ass conference! I picked ASU! 41 seconds left and they are up 11! Seriously, unsportsmanlike conduct with 30 seconds to go! Give up a touchdown with 8 on the clock! I go from 42000 to 2000 just like that! AS F…ing U, 9 penalties for 94 F…ing yards. Oh well, I’m no poorer now than I was 3 hours ago. Congrats to the top 3 in the weekly contest. I went for it on… Read more »
Absolutely brutal. I’d say the fix was in against you GT, except as you say, we are speaking of the ridiculous Pac-12 here. You surely deserved better today. I turned off the game right before you were impossibly jobbed!
1/2 of a point you lose by, Golden. And you were on the verge of taking over second place. I was rooting for you so as to make it an interesting 4-player contest to the finish line.
Oh well, as they often say at SC these days there is always next year.
Prime example of why I don’t like to bet much anymore. If you had ASU -6.5, you were in disbelief when gifted with an interception return for a touchdown in the last minute to cover the spread, only to have Washington score a TD on basically the last play of the gam, to make it a 5 point spread. That’s the stuff that keeps you up at night if you have real money on it
Go Karl! Beat the Bruins. 3-6 CU leads 5-4 UCLA 20-7 with about 1 min to go in the 1st half.
Choc Chip Kelly is looking very upset on the sidelines. He was foaming a little.
Good win by the basketball team today. They almost blew a big lead, but Temple is no slouch of a program
I could only get the game call on the internet so when we were up by 20 at halftime I decided to watch the Ole Miss/Texas A&M game. I was blown away when I checked back in on the game to see the lead was down to 4 with 1 minute remaining….good thing we hit our free throws. You are correct; Temple is a good team and we were playing on the road. This is going to be an exciting team with a lot of game experience that is going to help us in tight games.
ASU comes back big to take 28-24 lead over UW with 1:11 left.
How long of a leash does David Shaw have? He’s lucky he stayed at Stanford when he was hot, because anywhere else would have canned him after, what is it now, three subpar years in a row. Maybe they are more patient because he did stay
Shaw’s a god with the people that matter at STAN. He has earned so much goodwill that I think the only way to get him out is to wait for him to walk away. I see him as one of those guys who could do that and just take some cushy position at the Farm for the rest of his life.
Good for him. He comes across as a good dude in interviews
He’s not a good recruiter. I just don’t think he prioritizes it. Overlooks a lot of talent from what I am told. When STAN latches onto their types, they are almost impossible to beat. But he’s dropped the ball, at least recently, in the talent dept anyway.
I agree, I think he’s lost the energy it takes to recruit the guys that fit and qualify for admission. Gotten a little lazy, maybe. I bet he is either asked, or just decides to make changes on his staff.
I think Shaw’s way past his prime, even though he’s only 49. He was rolling (for STAN at least) pretty good most of the time until 2018. Then the wheels came off. And he still killed The Cat this year, thank goodness!
Since Shaw is a Stanford alum, he won’t be canned as long as he stays. He’s brought Stanford to Rose Bowls so they’ll let a few bad seasons pass.
Plus, STAN doesn’t really want to be THAT good in football. Being too good in football doesn’t fit with their academic self-image. It’s a long discussion.
Wow! Kansas is ahead of Texas 21-14 late in the first half. I sure didn’t think things would go this south, this soon for Sark. He may be back in the Saban Rehab program before long. I doubt he gets more than another year or two if this continues. I wonder if the fans are missing Tom Herman
Poor Matthew McConaughey. Alright, Alright, Alright Matt! Hook ‘Em!
There biggest mistake was firing Mack Brown. He is doing great stuff at NC.
Agree with you about Mack Brown. He had some good years left for sure. Even though Carolina is down this year, he quickly turned them around and got them back in the conversation
I may lose my a$$ tonight in the contest but at least I have Fresno up 24-0 at the half.
Watching how innovative, smooth, and productive Ole Miss is on offense. We were about 6 years too early on Kiff. He’s learned from his mistakes and has become a well rounded good coach
Plus he’s not trying to coach a team under the worst and most abusive NCAA probation/scholie stripping outside of SMU ever handed down.
Yes, in retrospect, he really handled that well with the way he loaded up on the class before the scholarship loss went into effect. His offenses, even during sanctions, were so much better than anything we’ve had here since. If he could’ve handled his ego and immaturity better, who knows.
We’re all right on Lane. He was too immature. He shouldn’t take shots to the face from Kennedy Pola before bowl games. He was up against the impossible, but as you say, he was smart the way he handled USC’s numbers.
I’m still shocked Haden has to fire him on the Tarmac, and then deny him a bus ride home with his team. Just totally bizarre.
That was a classless move that everyone in the nation frowned on
USC was in its early-to-mid stages of football hell around then. Are we climbing out? Or just entering a new mediocre phase? Or getting ready to begin a new era of dominance?
If the right hire is made, I really think we can be back within two years. At least competing well enough to be in every game, win or lose. The transfer portal will help with depth at key positions.
UCLA’s losing to CU 7-0 near the end of the 1st Q. Sloppy Bruins. Tricky DTR isn’t consistent or a great thrower by any means, but he sure can escape from DLs. He makes a lot of guys miss with those legs.
If the Bruins continue looking like they do, maybe USC has a chance after all against these typical, underachiever little gutties.
Jeff Lebby is running Kiffins offense he is an Art Briles student
Too bad Art Briles ruined his career because of other issues he couldn’t handle.
Art Briles was an offensive wizard too. Guys like him, Hugh Freeze and Bobby Petrino were rising stars who couldn’t get out of their own way
You think Art Briles would want to rehab as SC offensive coordinator? Not that Folt would let that happen
I think Briles is totally out of football. He was in the HS ranks for a while. Did okay. Not on Folt’s Rolodex (what are they called now in today’s tech universe?). I doubt he’ll ever lose his radioactivity.
I think you are right. I was just throwing it out there for fun. Why should Alabama be the only place where all the used-to-be good coaches go? Ha!
I say we get Aranda to come, and make Jeff Lebby an offer he can’t refuse, as the “Don” used to say
Lebby married Briles daughter Staley
Weird coincidence.
Would Clemenza have been Marv Goux? How about Michael for McKay (the cutthroat star of the show)?
Ha! Good call! Marv Goux was Clemenza! The fixer who did all the dirty work
ORE ST is pulverizing STAN 28-7 in Corvallis with 2:40 to go in the 3rd. Hard to believe this Cardinal team is the one that mauled USC and finally sunk The Cat.
I always love to see MIA lose, in part because of that horrible man, Paul Dees, and what he orchestrated against USC. FSU 31, MIA 28, 26 secs left. Bye bye ‘Canes!
FSU/MIA and USC/UCLA are a little similar. Both used to be rivalries that were much more important to watch. Hard times have befallen all these programs.
I have a conference in Key Biscayne next week. If I could make the time, I would go on a field trip to the cemetery where Dees is planted and piss on his enormous grave.
This MIA/FSU game is wild. 28-23, MIA leads with 1:27 to go and the ‘Noles are threatening.
I root for USC ….My brother roots for Boston College ….I GOTTA rank Boston College as the better football program right now .Its is not even debatable (BC just got its 6th win )
I’d say Stetson Bennett has a nice grip on the GA QB starting job. He’s got a little magic to him, and GA looks unbeatable.
Hard to believe this is already JR JT Daniels’ 4th season of CFB.
Not sure what happened to JT,. he is a talented Qb but obviously he cannot move very well or just flat out run like Bennett can. To bad because he has a great arm.
JT Daniels had the misfortune of trying to QB that horrible 5-7 2018 team as a true frosh, where Toa L (The Cat’s solo fave player of all time!) often launched moon shots to him during games. Scarred for life maybe. JT seems like he might be injury-inclined too. Maybe that’s not fair.
He gets hurt at least once a season. Not bad, considering he isn’t at USC where it would be 10 times a season.
Mailbag question to The Athletic’s Antonio Morales re USC and Donte Williams: Morales: “I could envision most new head coaches keeping Donte Williams on their staff. He’s that much of an asset on the recruiting trail, as evidenced by his work at Oregon and USC the past four years. I think he provides even more value if USC ends up hiring a coach with no ties to Southern California and the West Coast, the territory where Williams excels. But at the end of the day, it’s up to the new coach to decide whether they want to keep him and… Read more »
You take Williams and let him coach under Aranda he can learn an awful lot. Aranda knows defense!
Boston College gets 7-0 lead but gives it right back by allowing Georgia Tech a 98 yard Kick-off return .
T takes the opening kickoff and drives on Georgia for a TD.
Looks like Tenn forgot to bring the defense. Now 7-7 after one possession each.
Tennessee came to play football. Quite an offense.
Perv State U and james franklin are now one game over .500–not who SC needs. Franklin’s coaching has led to losses in 4 of his last five games. Over-rated franklin is Huggs the Cat plus 5-10%. No thanks, not buying.
Franklin is failing the job interview for SC. Fickell number one choice with Aranda rising fast. Neither will make the playoffs
I truly believe Fickell will stay home and wait for Cincy to join the Big12 where he will get his shot at the NC. But if they can get him to come great, but Aranda is a So. Cal guy with family waiting for him to come home.
Looks like the pirate could pull an upset over Auburn. Good for him.
Did you hear where Lane Kiffin said Mike Leach was the best offensive coach in the college ranks? I’m pretty sure that’s what I heard.
He says it but it was total gamesmanship on Lane’s part. They play in 2 weeks and he said it with a wink and a nod. He’s got that PR game down pat. Also, he’s a good coach too.
Leach looks darn good today against Auburn.
Kiffen needs to realize Leach has probably forgotten more about football than Kiffen knows. I am sure he has tricks he hasn’t shown young Lane yet.
LOL….Could Arizona beat Utah ?
I have read that Bergen Catholic High Schools football field is consider hollowed ground not for NJ but for the whole Country. It is the same exact field they play on today and the same field they played on in the 1950’s ……. In the 1950’s Bergen Catholic had a last game of the season (Rival Game) vs ST Cecilia’s ………In the 1950’s St Cecelia had a head coach named one Vince Lombardi !
Bohn needs to make the call and start at $8million plus a house. ARANDA
They are reviewing a Mich. TD. Play stands, Mich up by 4 points with 2 1/2 minutes left.
Promised my Brother I would tune into his team (Boston College) vs Georgia tech…….BC does not recruit too much nationwide but the get a lot of players from Bergen Catholic (Bergen County NJ ). Bergen Catholic is currently ranked #6 in the Country . Would love to see Bergen Catholic play Mater Dei (Santa Ana)
Baylor clinches win—24-14 final
PSU now leads MICH 17-14 with 5:55 to go.
Clemson 37 CONN 7 ………How come Mr. Hugs never scheduled UCONN ?????
ok …..Saturday chores DONE ! …Rest of the day for football .Good news (kinda ) Oklahoma losing …..Bad News tho ….It helps Ohio State .
Regardless of schedule strength, If both ORE and OHIO ST remain undefeated, I don’t think the Ducks should ever fall behind the Buckeyes because they beat them easy in Columbus.
Works for me .
1978– SC beats Alabama for the Tide’s only loss. SC later loses one game. Alabama screamed for the National Championship.
Not watching the game at work, but the stat-sheet says it all— Baylor throttled the Soon-to-be-Forgotten Sooners of Oklahoma, and the sooner the better.
Also, does this win do anything for Baylor Coach Aranda’s career?
Meanwhile, we are about to discover if a Nittany Lion from Penn St can outduel a Wolverine from Michigan.
Baylor putting this away.
Franklin is living up to the hype, losing the big game again. I just can’t see him coming to USC.
You’ve always been against Franklin, right?
If so, he’s sure not doing himself any favors lately.
Harbaugh also loses all his big games. PSU just scored and is going for two to tie MICH at 14. Done! Great catch. 14-14, with 7:30 to go.
You are correct Allen, the guy has never impressed me at all. Thing is Aranda looked good in his loss last week, and looks even better today after opening a can of whoop-ass on OK. Send him the plane ticket to LA now.
USC and Aranda are just too good to be true.
That would just be so insanely great. So ya, let it happen!
17-7 BAY over OU with the 13 min in the 4th to go. Love this! Go Bears!
Baylor scored again. I am really liking Coach Aranda.
OU now down to the Baylor 12. But only 3:00 left.
Wow. Could Dan Mullen get canned? UF is losing to SAMFORD 42-28. The Gators just look slow and bad.
42 all now. It is hard for me to understand why Florida would fire him. He seems to need recruiting help but has he forgotten how to coach?
I’ve never thought UF would actually lose the game to FCS member STAMFORD. But the 4-5 Gators sure ain’t what they used to be.
49-42 florida
BAY 10, OU 7. 11:49 to go in the 3rd. Go Bears!
I do not care if we play a football game where we gotta use members of the Marching Band vs UCLA’s first team football players………BEAT UCLA ……FIGHT ON !!!!!
My family (Giants fans) have told me they are one week away from their team playing a game that will hurt a lot to lose (The NYG are at Tampa Bay ) …I just told them I have THE EXACT same situation ….It always is extremely painful to me when my USC Trojans lose to UCLA …….I am hoping that myself and my family have a joyous football weekend next week ……FIGHT ON !!!!!
I’m predicting USC loses to UCLA, flat out. A very sad prediction for me.
Who do you think wins this game? Are you gonna stick your neck out and actually predict a Trojan victory after seeing USC play this season?
USC kinda owned the Bruins under Helton. Since a lot of The Cat’s poor coaching is truly embedded within USC, maybe his knack for beating UCLA is also still hanging with USC? That’s the least we can ask for, right?
BTW, the Bruins play CU at the Rose Bowl tonight at 6 pm (P12N).
just about every other year, I could make a case for a USC win if a couple things were to happen. This is the first time in a long time that I can’t really see a scenario where that could happen. Donte and Harrell will have two weeks to put in trick plays and new wrinkles on offense. There is absolutely nothing to lose. If we don’t see any innovation or changes, then I will lose even more respect than I already have.
I just see UCLA running on USC and stopping USC on the ground as well.
That leaves USC’s passing game with two shaky QBs, a bad O-line, and all-world Drake London out.
Don’t ask me how USC wins in this scenario, but I’d sure love to jump up and down about it all after it actually happened!
Me too! It would take some of the sting out of this awful season
So the Bruins are having a live scrimmage in Boulder. High Altitude Training, I suppose….
Karl Dorrell! U C L A, Fight, Fight, Fight, Karl! I expect Choc Chip Kelly to treat Karl (aka Radio) rather badly today.
If it is the USC water boys vs UCLA 1st teamers …I would pick USC ……FOR REAL !……….AS ALWAYS FIGHT ON (And yes I still DREAM of a guy named Fickell ) .
Sometimes I think USC’s water boys would beat USC’s first-teamers. 😂
Oops, Thought the Bruins were on the road against the Buffs. My bad.
The most important game for me is Arizona State Sundevils – Washington Huskies. A fight between Satan and the Dogs (that’s for you LJ). Is UW offense going to get better without their Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator? Will ASU offense continue to pound the ground game like they did to USC? At week 11 will UW defense finally figure out how to stop the run? Will the Devils cover the 6.5? My answers, No, Yes, No and a Big YES!
I think the Huskies are looking dim, as is overmatched Jimmy Lake, who appears to be an absolute misfire as UW’s HC.
Remember he was hand picked by Peterson himself
I think Robinson picked Tollner too, didn’t he? Yes. Kiss of death half the time.
If I remember right wasn’t McKay 2nd choice?
Topping first offered the job to Trojan asst Ray George, who refused to take it and recommended fellow asst McKay.
Bad injury news for the Rams and Robert Woods. He tore his ACL in practice yesterday. OBJ is gonna come in handy.
