This Post will be updated throughout the week.
- Please remember, this is supposed to be about fun and Trojan camaraderie.
- There are no entry fees.
- Every participant will receive 20,000 betting units.
- You must bet a minimum of 1 game and 1,000 units each week
- There will be a limited number of games to choose from each week.
- The contest ends on December 4, 2022.
- I will post the point spread for each week’s games on Monday
- All wagers must be received by Friday at noon PT. (Exact date will posted weekly)
- Wagers must be posted on the TDB (preferred) or they can be emailed to: info@trojandailyblog.com.
- I will review each wager to make sure that it was correctly placed. I will then respond to your entries to let you know that they have been accepted.
- If you do not see your wager acknowledgement please contact me as soon as possible by posting a comment on the blog prior to the first game you have wagered on.
- If a game is cancelled or moved to another date, then that game will not be counted as a bet (no action).
- Winning wagers will be paid as ‘even money’, for example; if you bet 1,000 units, you will win 1,000 units.
- The winner will be determined by who has the most betting units in their account at the end of the contest.
- I will keep track of everyone’s account and this accounting will be posted on TDB on Monday. Please review my figures. If you think that a mistake has been made you must contact me by 9pm Monday – otherwise these numbers will be considered official.
- First Prize is: 150.00
- Second Prize is: 75.00
- Third Prize is: 25.00
- If two people end up in first place, then the first and second prize will be added together and that amount will be split between the two winners.
- I will handle all disputes and my decision will be final.
- Anyone can be removed from the contest for exhibiting poor sportsmanship, as determined by me.
- By making wagers on the games you acknowledge you agree to these rules.

The “Rock bet on USC” curse strikes again!!! I am not sure what is worse — me still trying, or those of you who are failing to take my advice and bet the opposite of whatever I bet!!! Easiest money around! ð As to the game, it lays bare that we are NOT going to beat UCLA without some semblance of defensive improvement before then. This game plan of just trying to have everyone score on every possession and then just wait, hope and pray for a turnover is not a sustainable strategy. First place to start is bad tackling… Read more »
I hate saying it, but I think UCLA would eek by USC in a game today.
I’m counting on USC to get healthy and improve a lot, especially on D, of course.
But I also think our defense is limited by talent, regardless of what Grinch comes up with, and he’s not out of the woods by any means either. Our DBs need to pull it together.
We’re in for an amazing UCLA game IMO. There’s going to be so many storylines for that game by the time Nov. 19 rolls around.

I’m gonna try to slowly battle back while waiting for that bet that just “talks to me” to push my measly chips to the center of the table! I’d feel better about this one if I was sure Jordan Addison would play at 100 percent, and Gentry would be back. Not sure what the status is there.
I think USC will beat ARIZ in Tucson by 20-plus even if Addison and Gentry don’t play. Something is wrong if USC can’t make that happen with LR, all of his offensive weapons, and coming off a bye (as are the defense-challenged Wildcats). Both MISS ST and ORE have already managed to do that in Tucson. The 3-4 Wildcats now face a murderer’s row of USC, UTAH and UCLA. Johnny Nansen is the ARIZ DC. Arizona is 3-6 ATS in its last nine games against USC. Last year the Trojans hosted the Wildcats as 21.5-point faves but ARIZ covered, losing… Read more »
Yeah, it’s just the road game bug-a-boo, and the fact that Pac12 refs seem to be tipping the field away from us, that worry me on a line like that. I have just been awful betting USC this season — maybe that’s really it!
Rock, Had my best week of the year last week in following your advice. So, since doing so this week would mean I would have to bet against the Trojans, I am going to avoid that game. Have yet to make up my mind on the other games.
Happy to help! Me taking USC virtually guaranties that we will win by exactly 15. Don’t view it as betting against the Trojans — we’ll still win!
Love it ‘Johnny Nansen is ARIZ DC.’ That alone says take SC and the points. Suckisian’s long time supplier and wingman is a joke for a football coach.
John, Probably a good idea to change the deadline for entries. Utah is playing WSU on Thursday night. If we can make out picks after the game on Friday, I think I can double my money with no risk!
Thanks, I did not catch that.

USC – 15.5 for 12,000 Stanford + 16.5 for 1,500 I have mixed feelings about USC this week, but I believe they can get a lead on Arizona and keep it. I’ve been to that stadium and the school was giving two free beers and a ticket to the game away at a homeless shelter to help fill the stadium. A couple of guys got in a fight over the free beer tickets after one of them dropped his. The game was closer than it should have been. As for Stanford, I hate them and expect after the game so… Read more »
