In football news, Jack Sears is #2 at Boise State again. Appears that GH ranking the QBs as JT, Kedon, Fink and Sears was about right.
Here’s a copy/paste from Yahoo Sports on hot seat coaches. Oh for the Bottom Line to be true, I know the 2nd to final paragraph sure is. Clay Helton – 45-23 entering full-time Year 6 (record includes two interim stints) While Nebraska has led the nation in buyouts, USC’s administrative distinction the past decade has been leading the country in federal investigations. While athletics officials and an assistant basketball coach accepted bribes and USC’s name kept coming up in court and on documentaries, the football program spiraled further from its Pete Carroll glory days. Helton has been USC’s most successful coach… Read more »
Abundantly clear is this football program can’t develop depth and it continues to depend solely on the passing game. These two issues alone will prevent any program from beating top teams & championships.
In the one bad piece of injury news, LB Jordan Iosefa, who was a team captain in 2019, is “taking a step back” and fulfilling more of a player-coach role after multiple knee surgeries sidelined him the last two seasons. Clay Helton left the door open for a possible return later this season, but whether or not he plays, the head coach values Iosefa in the locker room. “He’s going to have an unbelievable career coaching,” Helton said.

Evan Mobley Buys Car for Bro 🙏 (Bleacher Report)
Cavs rookie bought Isaiah a new car for his birthday and his reaction is wholesome.
From one brother to another…
What kind of car is it? The camera is moving to fast for me.
All I could tell is it’s the expensive kind.
It looked like one of those Hellcat Challengers from Dodge. 6.2 litre Hemi, mucho horsepower.
that was my educated guess….
The tri-conference agreement (aka the Historic Alliance) as of now in a nutshell, no docs required. Who knows how many teeth it really has to it? “There’s no signed contract,” Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff said. “There’s an agreement among three gentlemen and there’s a commitment from 41 presidents and chancellors and 41 athletic directors to do what we say we’re going to do. If there’s any lack of specificity in the press release, it’s because we want to make sure we could deliver 100 percent of what we promised, so we’re aligned in how we want to approach this. But… Read more »
It has been reported that George Kliavkoff was the aggressive instigator in forming this new alignment. But in yesterday’s press conference when asked the question who started this idea, the answer was ignored. Further, part of Kliavkoff’s reason for getting the other conferences to form this alliance, it was reported, was to protect or get assures there would be no poaching of teams in the PAC-12. Lastly, the commissioners stated no contracts or agreements were signed pertaining to this alignment pact. So this is strictly a vocal pact with no binding clauses to maintain it.
Of course the logistics of all this is that it will be a couple or more years before the Big-10 and Pac-12 will be able to have regular season games between each other due to firm contractual scheduling already in place. I thought some of these schedules are set years in advance.
Praise the Trojan Gods!!😎
