Feisty Tweeter JuJu says he loves playing for Andy Reid. The question is, does Reid love JuJu enough to bring him back now that he is becoming a free agent this offseason?

Barry Switzer suspects money and lack of desire to coach in SEC drew Lincoln Riley from OU to USC, and that the move was actually in the works for weeks… Andrew Graham (on3.com) — Speaking on the “Paul Finebaum Show” on Wednesday, Barry Switzer was his usual blunt self when talking about OU, Lincoln Riley, and why he left after the 2021 season. In short, Switzer thinks the money helped pull Riley to leave OU for USC. He also thinks he didn’t totally desire to coach in the SEC. Plus, as for the money, Switzer pointed out that OU leaving the Big 12… Read more »
USC will miss two key players these next two games against Bay Area schools Adam Jasper (247Sports) — Persistent injuries are troubling a Trojans team that is already on the bubble of the NCAA tournament. USC basketball forward Joshua Morgan and guard Reese Dixon-Waters are not expected to be available for Thursday’s game against CAL (loser of nine consecutive games), according to team sources. The Trojans will miss their starting forward and sixth man at Galen Center, marking the fourth straight game without the pair. I wonder if the big12 had a clause integer contract that would add to TV deals if they added teams. If I were Arizona schools, Colorado, or Utah, I would bolt right now.
Chris, My guess is it is more complex than we know (or can know as outsiders). I would expect the B12 would have the ability to add teams. I would think that the number should be the same for the newcomers as those who are part of the new deal (I think about $31 million a year per team). If George cannot deliver that number to Utah, CO, AZ and ASU, but the B12 can, then the Pac is dead. The Larry Scott legacy may well be that he was allowed by the Pac12 presidents to kill the Pac. PAC-12 REPORTEDLY SUFFERS MAJOR BLOW DURING CHAOTIC MEDIA NEGOTIATIONS David Hookstead (outkick.com) — The Pac-12 continues to be in serious trouble when it comes to landing a new media deal. The western conference has struggled to hammer out a new media deal with just one football season left on the league’s current deal and USC/UCLA leaving for the B1G in 2024. There has been literally no good news about the Pac-12 landing a new media deal for the past several months. The Big 12 got a deal done and is now financially stable. Brett McMurphy reported Wednesday that CBS & Turner… Read more »
Couldn’t happen to a better group of schools.
This seems like such a potentially volatile situation. Am looking forward to seeing how this all shakes out when the Pac-Whatever media rights K is finally signed, assuming the current members even stick together.
I think they do for lack of a better potential situation. Both the PAC and the BIG12 are in the same boat. Adding additional schools only dilutes the pot of money.
I would think the Pac10 would be worth somewhere between the Big12 and Mountain West, not even close to SEC or Big10 money.
