USC football ranks No. 1 in 247Sports Team Transfer Rankings after addition of Caleb Williams, and is No. 9 in 247Sports’ Overall Team Rankings for the 2022 cycle. I don’t see much left in the Portal especially OL and DL. With 7 scholarships left we’ll see what tomorrow brings. Man, is it fun to be a Trojan! Fight the F On! ✌😆🏈
247Sports’ Chris Hummer wrote Tuesday that Riley has the Trojans on pace to return to national prominence sooner rather than later. “Given how open the Pac-12 looks at the moment, Williams’ addition transforms the Trojans from fascinating Year 1 experiment to a legitimate threat to win the Pac-12 South,” Hummer wrote.
I suspect quite a few SC Fans are gonna raise the bar of exceptable performance level on MR. Caleb Williams (Which is ok by me ) …….But the person I hope raises the bar on Caleb more than anybody else (and makes dang sure Caleb knows it ) …..Is Lincoln Riley ……..Fight On !!!!!
Excited about USC Football now ….A little of that is because of Caleb ……BUT 80 PERCENT OF THAT IS BECAUSE OF Lincoln Riley ………FIGHT ON !!!!!
I officially hope I am wrong but… Does anyone remember the hoopla over the return of Matt Barkley for his senior season? The fans at the Ucla game at the end of his junior year were chanting, “one more year.” The media circus was crowning him as the next Heisman winner and speculation ran rampant over his NFL draft status until a Christmas ornament arrived at the Kiffin house with a picture of Matty and Lane and the words “one more year.” His QB coach told the world that Matt’s mechanics were greatly improved as USC started what should have… Read more »

I think there are too many differences in the physical skills of Williams vs Barkley and the coaching skills of Riley vs Helton to let Barkley’s pretty decent career rain on the Williams to USC parade. Ya, baby!

Yes it is important that when (<<<<<< notice the word I used there) Caleb announces his choice of USC
While we’re all gloating and posting our “told you so” reminders, I might as well play along too. I said several weeks ago that CW would announce it on a day on which he would own the sports headlines. Ta-da!
