Commentator — “It’s the culture that Caryl Smith Gilbert has established at USC. You hear it not only from the juniors and seniors, but also from the freshmen and sophomores that you hear from after these events. It’s about the team environment, the team atmosphere, the desire of excellence that they have on an individual basis and how you can lift each other up collectively. Now USC has put together their own miniature streak of two straight conference titles. Based on everything we saw here, and their talent, you feel like it won’t be coming to an end anytime soon.”
