USC Trojans This & That — 2/13

Rod Sherman catches “84-Z-Delay” pass on 4th and 15 from Craig Fertig to beat No.1 ranked and undefeated Notre Dame in the Coliseum 20-17 in 1964. John McKay was at his finest before the game when he told the press, “I’ve decided that if we play our very best and make no mistakes whatsoever, we will definitely make a first down.”

Alamoana9. I want to apologize to you for teeing off on you one time in response to a posted article. I was in a petulant mood at the time, and I took it out on you. Without making any excuses I am sorry for that.

Sign of the times — Army makes ESPN way too early Top 25 and USC is not even a contender.

I wonder if the Administration or Swann even noticed…or even care.

Army has a cakewalk schedule and will probably be out of the top 25 halfway through the season. ESPN trying to get clicks.

For those of you who want to keep abreast of the Marshall debacle and Dean Ellis, and to the tactics being employed to silence descent….despicable behavior by the Elitist BOT.

It’s very disheartening at what is happening to Marshall in particular and the university in general. Its starting to look like a police state over there.

This is what Liberals do. If you disagree with them they make you go away one way or another. Just look at all of the confrontations republican congressmen and women have had at restaurants and other public places. Liberals are not looking for debates, they only want you to go away.

5 star OT from Auburn just came on the portal. Doubt Helton needs him though.

Do we have any scholarships left to offer? If so, we should jump on him.

I believe we have 2 available. I doubt Helton will convince the OT to transfer though.

Ed Ogeron wasn’t good enough for Pat HADEN, but I’d bet the farm we would be stocked up pretty good with linemen if he were here!

Helton will not offer him. He may watch some game film though.

He is watching game film for all the 2020 WR’s that are slow. He demands a 40 time of 4.90 or worse. This provides the WR more stability and that is our objective.

Steveg, I just read an interesting article highlighting transfer portal prospects USC should go for and it highlighted a guard from Georgia Tech that looks good, that being said it’s on that OL coach to actually go out and start recruiting these guys. Helton is the HC but these other coaches are the ones that do the footwork as illustrated by Burns and his class he had, so we can get on Helton for a lot of things but a lot of this recruiting starts with the position coaches. They have to know and see thy’re hurting on the line… Read more »
