Here is a quote fron CH. “Ivan’s replacement will be someone who can develop our players’ total body as well as design programs for their skill specific needs. That programming should incorporate strength, conditioning, speed training, functional football movements, preventative injury exercises, flexibility, diet and sleep. That person will be forward thinking when it comes to the art of sports science and how it can help our players gain a competitive advantage. They should have the leadership skills and confidence to lead a group of 110 young men, being firm but fair and holding them accountable to their responsibilities. Someone… Read more »

We only needs all of those things when practices start. Until then the team can have nothing but cheat days. Happiness, Transfers, Football.

Garry was one of the best. Always level headed. It is a shame he went so young. RIP.
USC basketball recruiting seems to be really top notch right now. Will take a few hours to watch more games in order to determine if a run next year is in the cards. Might be fun. If I was in LA sure would go to the games.

Garry always kept things positive, or tired to. But I wonder what he really thought of the slow demise of the PAC-12 and Larry Scott, who by the way, has fallen silent and no surprise there, on what the the national let alone local CFB reporters perceptions are. If you are in the sports communication business and the subject that you are connected to is not very good, there is a struggle in selecting what to report about. There is no bragging about PAC-12 sports anywhere. This would be hard times for Garry no doubt.

Reading through some of the glowing comments about Gary P. I turned on the video showing the two fathers of fallen Trojans allowed to run onto the field with the team back in Carroll’s day. I still get jolted every time I watch the Cardinal & Gold running out from the tunnel. Bring on 2019– I believe SC will be an improved product.

Single digits with snow and high winds here in eastern Washington. That may be a reason WSU has a hard time recruiting. Official visits in winter, not great.

Shows why lots of kids take official visits to USC in the winter. Free trip to LA and out of the cold? Yep, I’ll go.

Fight on!!!
