Just watched the AD announcement live and was very impressed with Bohn. Folt was clearly dazzled by the way Bohn handled himself. First question was what is top priority? Agree with all the comments. SC football hasn’t been the same, knowing that winning games could buy more time for an absolute grease fire of a coach. It appears our long national nightmare will be over the Monday after the ucla game.
Let’s hope we get the new hire right. If not Urban(the obvious choice but unlikely to happen) then someone with a history of winning games. It shouldn’t be that tough, but this group has screwed up easier tasks.

This begins a new era for USC sports.
With a true professional AD things should be upwards.
His first big move will be the hiring of a new HC.
Hopefully a HC with experience being a HC and with good organizational
and motivational skills.

These last 3 games will speak volumes for Clay. If his players rally behind him he can go out 8-4 with a decent bowl game and possibly parlay that into another head coaching gig. If they quit like last year, he has no tale to tell.

Bohn was brought in to fix the mess, Clay and the rest of the football team know he’s gone. It will be interesting to see how they respond.
