I’m hoping for a really big beatdown of Stanford on Saturday.
John McKay, the greatest USC football coach who ever lived, hated Stanford too:
“I’d like to have beaten them by 2,000 points,” McKay said after beating the Indians (they didn’t become the Cardinal until 1981) 30-21 in 1972.
“They have no class. They’re the worst winners we’ve ever come up against.”
McKay also referred to Stanford coach John Ralston as a “horse’s ass” when the two were in the NFL. “I don’t like any part of him.”
