Jon Wilner of the Mercury News is one of the most knowledgeable and clever writers covering Pac-12 football. The Bay Area scribe recently published his spring summary of USC on the gridiron, which while in my opinion is overly optimistic about USC’s unproven offensive line, covers USC in the best nutshell.
I especially like his highlighting of Oregon DB/ATH Talanoa Hufanga, my favorite human highlight tape of the incoming Trojan class. I should also point out that Tyson Helton had to move on based on his conflicted interaction with Tee Martin. Tyson benefitted greatly with a brand new $1.205 million contract as the latest Tennessee offensive coordinator.
Wilner is usually quick and to the point. He’s objective, insightful and very well-respected. Here’s what Wilner had to say about the 2018 Trojans.
