6 pm ET

That’s the time on this first 24 hours of daylight-savings Selection Sunday when the NCAA will begin announcing the bracket placements of the 68 teams chosen to play for the 2018 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship.

The official beginning of March Madness will be televised for two hours on TBS, live from the Turner Studios in Atlanta. You can also watch the selections on-line at NCAA.com.

Hosts Ernie Johnson and Greg Gumbel will be joined by analysts Clark Kellogg, Charles Barkley, Seth Davis and Kenny Smith in Atlanta.

For those who need unbridled pre-announcement bluster, Turner Sports and CBS Sports are producing a special four-hour Social Madness social media preshow, running exclusively on official March Madness handles across YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, along with NCAA.com and Bleacher Report beginning at 2 p.m.

The tournament play-in games begin on Tuesday, March 13, with the actual tournament starting on Thursday, March 15, at around 12:20 EST. The Championship game is scheduled for Monday, April 2.
